Camp Description: This 4 day camp will be designed to prepare all ELITE goalies for tryouts, evaluations and making the team! The Summer Development Series June Edition will ensure that all goaltenders will be placed at stations with goalies of similar age, skill and experience. This will allow the goalies to push themselves with other like minded goalies. We aim to keep the groups small to ensure the quality is high for each goalie. The daily schedule includes (2) 1 hour ice times daily to maximize the details. The morning on ice session will be followed by an off ice session (workout/mobility/yoga), directly into an NHL style video breakdown. To follow the goaltenders will take the ice for the second on ice session of the day. The focus of this camp is developing goalies through skating, enhancing decision making skills, and by using the most current techniques applied by the best goalies around the world. Both on and off ice sessions will be detailed and structured in a way that allows for the most success.

Jeff Glass Goaltending is in Cali this summer, and we’re adding Anaheim for the first time ever!
San Diego camp will feature 3 days of Pro-level instruction and experience. 1 hour of ice on Friday, with 2 hours of ice both Saturday and Sunday. With off-ice training, and NHL-style video review, we will give you the tools for success to take into the rest of your summer and in-season training.
Anaheim will feature 4 days of pro-level training. Each night will consist of an off ice workout, 1 hour of on ice, and an NHL style video review. Ages 12U, 14U, and 16U.

The JUNE and AUGUST 3 and 4 day camps will be designed for ELITE goalies to expand their skill set. The 4 day JULY camp will be designed for our young goalies to develop the habits and skills of our pro goalies, all while having fun doing it. It doesn’t get easier, you just get stronger.

Working with @rdrebels goalie @connor.ungar this week, we wanted to focus on “the small details” which is a term used in excess, but for good reason. Making your movements small and compact allows for the play to come to you, rather than chasing every shot we can practice patience and utilizing speed only when necessary.

In the first clip, we worked on patience behind the net and exploding off the post. Using our hands and body to build a wall.
.
Second clip illustrates similar principles but we get to see the progression in connors play from rep to rep. Collapsing into the tip eliminates holes on the initial shot. He then shifts his focus on integrating into the post. From here he is in the best position to not have to reach for the shot on the wrap that followed.

The ceiling is high for this stud, more to come from him this summer and next season.

With a professional career spanning 15 years world wide, Jeff Glass has stopped a lot of pucks. His junior career began in 2002 with the Kootenay Ice of the WHL where he spent 3 seasons and went on to win the Del Wilson Trophy awarded to the WHL Goaltender of the year, as well as CHL goalie of the year in the 2004-2005 season. That same year he suited up as the starting goaltender for “the greatest Canadian World Junior Team ever” leading them to a Gold medal in the 2005 World Junior Championship.
He was drafted in the 3rd round 89 th overall in the 2004 NHL draft and began his professional career with the Ottawa Senators and their AHL affiliate the Binghamton Senators. After 4 seasons in North America, Glass decided it was time for an adventure as he signed a deal with Barys Astana of the KHL. After 3 years in Kazakhstan he went on to represent 5 other teams in the KHL including, Novosibirsk Sibir, Lada Tolyatti, Dynamo Minsk, Moscow Spartak and the prestigious CSKA Moscow.
The 2016-2017 season brought him back across the pond as he suited up with both the Toronto Marlies and the Rockford Icehogs of the AHL. The following season (2017-18) is when Glass made his NHL debut with the Chicago Blackhawks at the age of 32 with a 4-3 OT victory over the Edmonton oilers. He was named 1 st star of that game. He went on to play a season with the San Diego Gulls of the American hockey league and most recently with the Linz Blackwings in the Austrian Hockey league.
Over his career, Jeff has worked with some of the most respected and influential goaltending coaches from around the world providing him with un-matched first-hand knowledge and experience.
